Job Description

An international multi-disciplined engineering consultancy based in London are looking to employ an experienced, knowledgeable Associate Director with a mechanical bias to develop a growing commercial development team. The consultancy has delivered several iconic projects across the world. They are renown in the industry for high quality design, hard work, high profile projects and retaining major blue chip clients.

This consultancy was established in the 1960's and are a multi-award winning company that currently employ over 100 staff in the UK covering mechanical, public health, electrical and CAD/Revit. They also have well-established civils and structural, commissioning and architectural teams that will work alongside your team. Projects are varied, challenging and rewarding. You can expect to work on data centres, financial, technology, commercial offices, warehouses, residential (high end luxury and development schemes), educational, health and defence projects. Project values regularly exceed £3Bn.

Your role will be to manage the commercial projects team, develop MEP design engineers, have full profit and loss responsibility, oversee feasibility studies, site surveys, deliver initial, concept and detailed design, liaise with end clients, architects, developers, site engineers and other stakeholders. You will be expected to be a key client facer and business developer of the consultancy.

To be considered for this role you must have experience of leading MEP design projects within building services in the UK, be proficient with British standards and regulations, have managed design engineers and worked in a client facing position.
