Our client is one of the largest independent building services contractor in the UK with an annual turnover approaching £200m. The group has 11 offices in and has been at the forefront of the building services industry for more than 65 years.
As a result of growth, they require an experienced CAD Co-ordinator to join a highly successful design & drawing team based at their head office in Northampton.
The successful candidate should possess experience of building services coordination in a 3D environment using software such as AutoCAD.
The role will involve coordination and production of Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health drawings using Autodesk Revit MEP. Prior knowledge of this software is preferable but in-house training can be provided.
The projects undertaken will mainly be within the residential sector, varying from mixed use schemes to high rise, high end developments and as such previous experience in the residential field will be an advantage as would a working knowledge of BIM projects. This role will suit an individual who wishes to further their career as there is plenty of scope for personal and professional development.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in building services CAD Co-ordination. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (2014-2016), exposure to coordinating in a 3D environment, preferably using AutoCAD MEP and/or Revit MEP.
Pro-active and approachable. Comprehensive co-ordination knowledge of all aspects of building services. Thorough and efficient. Flexible in approach to deadlines. Willing and able to work as part of a team with personal skills to promote good relationships and a friendly working environment. Ensuring quality standards are maintained in accordance with company QA policies. Working in an integrated M&E team.
