My client is fast growing and exciting construction consultancy that solely works within Building Services, facilities management and commissioning. They are looking to hire due to growth, new business opportunities and gaining further market share. My client is looking to hire a Commissioning Manager to join them and work on exciting varied projects. Projects range in value but regularly exceed £50m.
You will be responsible for the witnessing the commissioning and testing of high end residential, commercial office space, laboratories, hotels and a broad spectrum of projects. As a Commissioning manager you will liaise with clients and subcontractors. Whilst undertaking the Commissioning manager role you will be working with different subcontractors attending progress meetings and signing off tests carried on Electrical, Mechanical Heating and Drainage installations. You will be responsible for all the necessary paperwork filing and documentation.
To be successful you will have experience of ensuring subcontractors comply with Project requirements, managing and coordinating specialist services subcontractors commissioning of their works, managing the commissioning, testing and witnessing of building services to the specification, developing Commissioning Strategies and Plans for the project, handover and post practical completion support and compiling of weekly forecasts and project planning trackers to streamline progress.
