Job Description

A global service provider that specialise in providing expert solutions in design and operations to the data centre and digital world are seeking a Project Manager for their London office. With an extensive reach into the European, Asian, Australian and American markets they have built an incredible reputation for being an effective and efficient deliverer of cost effective and customer driven reliable resolutions from engineering, energy, manufacturing and IT Services.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of the contractors and vendors in the delivery of numerous simultaneous projects valued between £7-£10 Million.

The company is large enough to be winning some of the world's leading data centre projects whilst small enough to allow employees to have real influence and impact across the firm, encouraging innovative individuals to implement their ideas and have detailed input into the operations and strategies.

As the Project manager you will manage all aspects of the construction projects whilst providing leadership and technical advice to project contractors and other associated disciplines. Therefore, this role would suit somebody who has experience managing teams and is comfortable sitting in front of clients discussing technical detail and objectives.

Reporting into the European Construction Director you will be responsible for monthly project reporting to assure that budget, schedule forecasts, including review and analysis. You will have overall responsibility for delivering projects on time to budget and assuring the quality of the project meet the design standards and objectives set.

You must have general knowledge of electrical, mechanical, security, BMS and fire systems.

This role will suit someone who can stand up in meetings, is confident to influence and initiate idea and is pro-active in working through an autonomous role.

The successful individual will be degree qualified as well as being able to demonstrate project management of technically complex projects.
