Job Description

An exciting, diverse opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager has arisen with a global company that have an internal engineering division that deliver a wide range of projects valued from £100K to £30M.

As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of projects from initial concept and planning stage through the design stages and to construction. This will entail working closely with external architects, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical consultants as well as internal teams to deliver high quality successful building and infrastructure projects.

With the company becoming fully BIM compliant there will be an emphasis on the successful person having a strong working knowledge of BIM and being proficient with Revit. As for your discipline, the role will suit at least a degree level qualified engineer with a background in building construction and specialising in either Building Services, Civil or Structural engineering, with a decent understanding or experience working with the other disciplines.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with a company that have a large number of current and future projects in the UK, Caribbean, Channel Isles, Spain and Australia.

There is an option for the successful candidate to be based in either London or Jersey. If the latter is preferred my client can arrange for a relocation bonus and provide the option to work through the Jersey arm of the company which will have huge tax benefits.

The company do not have a pension or healthcare scheme etc., instead they pay a full package in one annual sum.
