Job Description

This award winning multi-discipline property and construction consultancy who provide services for all market sectors, across the UK and around the world are looking for a senior fire and security consultant who will be responsible for fire design (fire alarms, AOV's etc) and security (door entry, access controls, CCTV) and working on contracts for housing providers with term maintenance contracts and upgrade contracts. This company employ over 250 staff, have 6 UK offices, overseas offices, have been established for a number of years and are known as one of the top consultancies in the Property and Construction industry.

This role will involve contracts administration, site inspections and reports, providing technical advice, preparation of specifications and tender documents, and acting a lead consultant on projects. As part of working for this consultancy, you will work directly with end clients, stakeholders and alike, hire, grow and manage a team of engineers who range in level from graduate engineer level, be responsible for project leadership and report directly to the London Partner. Project sectors you will work in include Public Sector, Pharmaceutical, Education, Commercial (fit outs), Healthcare, Residential, Retail and Critical Systems (including data centres).

If you have a proven track record of successful UK building services project delivery, a background in designing fire alarm systems, regularly work directly with end clients, have projects and understand the commercial (Profit and loss) aspect of a consultancy business then this opportunity may be for you.

Any experience in working for main contractors, end clients or site based work will be very desirable.
