Job Description

A forward thinking and progressive Mechanical and Electrical construction company that have been established for over 40 years are landing multiple projects across the South East at the moment and subsequently hiring a number of engineers to work on key projects.

With a foundation built on the installation and maintenance of prolific retail projects they have continued to progress their services offering into multiple sectors and have become very successful within the commercial, banking and critical systems industries.

One of their most recent project wins has a unique opportunity on site for a Mechanical Engineer who is operating at an intermediate level and is ambitious to prove themselves on a larger more challenging project that offers exposure to the next level of engineering expertise.

Located in one of Central London's business districts this project is a CAT A development of a commercial office block. As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of drawings and installation of Fan Coil Chillers, CHP, Plant and Pumps and other associated services.

Reporting to the lead mechanical engineer you will be required to attend daily meetings with clients, contractors, design teams, consultancies, site staff and various other project personnel to ensure that the project is running on time and to set standards.

This position would suit an ambitious and hard-working intermediate mechanical engineer who is keen to gain exposure a large project within a well stablished building services contractor.

The project is due to go to site mid-June and run for 40 weeks/ Therefore we need to place an engineer within the next couple of weeks so that they can be properly briefed on the project.
