Established 30 years ago and continuously growing my client is looking for an MEP Revit Technician. This company is a highly regarded building services consultancy focusing on Residential, Mixed-Use, Hotels, Heritage and Commercial projects and Specialist Bespoke Buildings.
Although medium in size they have a reputation for working on some of the highest profile and innovative projects currently being developed in the UK and London. Many projects are large schemes ranging from £20million-£200million contract values. This is a true indication of the calibre of consultancy that my client is and the type of projects they attract. They compete with some of the biggest building services consultancies in the UK.
The company is a multi-disciplinary consultancy giving all employees exposure to other teams increasing your learning curve and eventual expertise as a truly well-rounded MEP Revit technician. The success of my client since the late 80's means that with a low staff turnover and project order book taking them well into 2018, you be joining a growing team of 55 +.
The reason for the position is due to an increase in Revit projects. This position has the potential to evolve into a company lead Revit role, dependant on the successful applicants' attitude & aptitude. The role will mean setting up projects, co-operating closely with engineers, modelling/co-ordinating Mechanical and Electrical services within risers and corridors, modelling/ co-ordinating plant rooms, creating families as required, setting up drawing sheets and amending templates as necessary
Additional requirements include a degree or equivalent in building services, 2 years full time MEP Revit experience and 5 years' relevant Building services experience.
To conclude, this is an outstanding opportunity to develop quickly and become part of the foundations of this company in a very friendly environment. This is an excellent chance to take on a key role within an established team being technically focused on projects.
