Job Description

My client is fast growing and exciting international multi-disciplinary consultancy that solely works within construction, employs over 100 staff and have an excellent reputation in the market. They are looking to hire due to growth, new business opportunities and gaining further market share. My client is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them and work on exciting varied projects. Projects range in value but regularly exceed £50m within commercial offices, high end residential, data centres, universities and hospitals/laboratories.

At present, the company are a group of 4 separate companies that offer services such as architecture, commissioning, civil engineering and building services design. This award winning consultancy are known within the industry for promoting staff from within, getting engineers chartered and retaining staff. At present, they employ over 100 engineers and have ambitious growth plans.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for the design and specification of Mechanical Design Building Services Installations, liaising with clients on a project by project basis, quality inspections, dealing with contractors and report writing for a number of projects based here in the UK and across the world.

The mechanical design engineer sought must have mechanical design engineering within Building Services experience, be a graduate and have good knowledge of British Standards and Building regulations.
