Job Description

An established building services design consultancy require a senior mechanical design engineer due to increasing workload, company growth and future plans. This consultancy are delivering quality design solutions for a range of sectors including data centre, leisure, retail, residential, commercial, hotel, healthcare (NHS and private hospitals), local authority and educational buildings. Projects are valued between £2-10m and are all over the UK. The consultancy employs 16 staff, have been established since the 1990's and are situated in Surrey.

In your role as a senior mechanical design engineer you will conduct mechanical designs from inception to delivery, statements/reports, provide technical support and advice, manage up to 3 staff per project and work directly with clients to deliver various projects.

This consultancy was established in the 1990's and has experienced organic growth since. They currently employ over 16 staff and expect to grow further. In addition, you will have the opportunity to progress to Director level, receive above market rates of pay, discretionary bonus, pension, private medical insurance and support for further education and/or chartership. There is also parking facilities at the office.

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a proven track record of mechanical design, UK Building Services experience, a willingness to work in a client facing role. Any experience of managing junior or intermediate engineers is desirable but not essential.
