Our client work on data centres across the globe and they have successfully forged an enviable reputation within the mission critical sector. Due to an impressive portfolio of work, and order book of projects they are looking to add a senior mechanical design manager from a building services background with extensive data centre experience.
Candidates who work in a consultancy or client-side background will be considered and the ideal candidate will have worked on mission critical projects in the UK and overseas. Applicants will have completed a degree in building services or mechanical engineers and have achieved chartered status or have made considerable progress in applying for chartership.
The Successful candidate will possess excellent understanding of mechanical building services as well as knowledge of standard practices in the design and delivery of mission critical projects, including latest ASRAE guidelines and Uptime Institute TIER ratings, be responsible for concept and detailed design, project budget, project quality management, apply company guidelines and standards across the portfolio of projects, production of project reports.
The candidate will already be operating at a Principal/Associate Engineer level within an engineering, construction or property environment, and will have a demonstrable track record as part of a team for one to two years minimum, of delivering and contributing to successful technically‐complex engineering‐led projects as part of a team; including experience as a lead engineer on a projects with a value of Euro 10 million.
The position will be based in the London office, however will be required to travel to projects across the EMEA.
