An industry leading building services design consultancy that are committed to the research and development of mechanical, electrical and public health engineering and driving the industry forward by remaining at the forefront of new technology and changing legislation, are seeking a Technical Standards Engineer with an Electrical bias to join their Technical Control Group.

Initially based from one of the firms UK offices but with the potential to work from home after a probation period, as the Technical Standards Engineer you will responsible for leading the development and maintenance of technical standards used across all the electrical teams. This will be partnered with promoting and sharing the knowledge throughout the firm.
With an electrical engineering background with some experience in building services and having established yourself at an intermediate / senior level, you will become a key member of the Technical Control Group, contributing to the consultancy's knowledge base which includes playing an important role in managing the firm's technical risk and in improving productivity and efficiency.
This role would be perfect is you are a very technically competent electrical engineer who has a good awareness of standards and legislation and guidelines that govern the industry and have solid experience writing detailed specifications and reports.
