Junior Electrical Engineer
Client: Privately owned, award‑winning building services consultancy that has been delivering first‑class engineering solutions since 1987. With a team of 60 multi‑disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers, they’ve built a reputation for excellence and steady, sustainable growth. They are looking to bring a Graduate (+1)/ Junior Electrical Engineer into the team to work on some of the UK’s most prestigious high‑end residential and hotel developments. Role:
- Carrying out survey work and site inspections
- Producing design calculations (hand‑calcs and software modelling)
- Preparing drawings and technical specifications
- Writing technical reports
- Supporting senior engineers with problem‑solving and design solutions
- Building strong client relationships alongside senior management
- Driving your own professional and personal development
- 1–3 years’ experience within a building services consultancy
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or HNC/HND with strong design experience)
- Confident client‑facing communication
- Experience with design software such as Microsoft Office, Amtech, Dialux/Relux
- Strong understanding of British Standards and Building Regulations
- Knowledge of HTMs is a bonus
- Professional membership (CIBSE, IMechE, IET)
- Flexible working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home after probation
