Electrically bias data centre specialist required at Associate to Associate Director level to join an international multi-disciplinary consultancy in their central London office.
Our client, who have been established for over 40 years and employ well over 500 staff across the globe are looking to add an Electrical Associate or AD from a building services design background with previous data centre experience to their established team.
With a network of offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Australia, they have worked on data centres across the globe and they have successfully forged an enviable reputation within the mission critical sector.
Candidates who work in a consultancy or client-side background will be considered and the ideal candidate will have worked on mission critical projects in the UK and overseas. Applicants will have completed a degree in building services or electrical engineering and have achieved chartered status or have made considerable progress in applying for chartership. Candidates will be well-versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech, ETAPS or SKM power systems analysis software.
The successful candidate will possess excellent understanding of electrical building services as well as knowledge of standard practices in the design and delivery of mission critical projects, including latest ASRAE guidelines and Uptime Institute TIER ratings, be responsible for concept and detailed design, project budget, project quality management, apply company guidelines and standards across the portfolio of projects, production of project reports.
