As a result of an increasing workload our client who pride themselves as an innovator in MEP Design, they are now looking to add an established Associate Mechanical Engineer to their MEP Design Studio based in Essex. You will be presented with an enviable portfolio of complex projects throughout the UK.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to think beyond your own discipline and work within a collaborative multi-disciplinary studio ensuring that complex problems are solved efficiently and effectively.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate level Mechanical Engineer with specific data centre experience from a building services background. Our client is a well-established award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy renowned for its flag ship projects within the Mission Critical arena.
As a result of continued success in the form of winning projects adding further stock to their healthy order books, our client has reiterated the need to bring on an established associate engineer who is actively working within the MEP consultancy space specifically working on Data Centre projects.
This role would be ideal for someone who is already established within this marketplace. Requirements
My client, a specialist multi-disciplined Building Services Consultancy based in Hertfordshire, is looking for Electrical Design Engineers of all levels with detialed design experience. My client is currently working on large scale building projects including data centres, local authority sites, Leisure centres, educational academies and one of the largest commercial office developments in Europe. Project values range from £20-30m plus.

You will play a big part in delivering the companies projects and will be given a lot of opportunity to progress to Senior/Principle/Associate level.
You will be responsible for the Electrical designs across a number of client projects in the UK and Europe. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplined team. You will be responsible for working directly with clients from concept/feasibility stage, conduct initial and detailed designs, electrical design calculations, liaison with architects, clients, structural engineers and contractors and site inspections.
In order to be successful when applying for this role you will possess skills and/or experience in Electrical Design (Building Services) experience, knowledge of British Standards and Building regulations and good communication skills, both oral and written. An industry related degree is a must, as well as living within an hour of the office.
