An Intermediate Electrical Engineer is urgently required for a leading building services consultancy with a high-profile portfolio of projects and an established and highly regarded team.
My client has been established for over 15 years and have grown to well over 60 staff in the London office. They are currently working on a diverse portfolio of work including new build & refurbishment commercial projects, residential, and hotels - working in tandem with a number of high profile and well know clients & architects.
They are currently looking for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years UK project experience. The ideal candidate will have previously projects managed a number of commercial & high-end residential projects and be confident and comfortable working alongside signature architects and passionate about delivering sustainable and innovative electrical design to projects.
The successful candidate will possess an ability to contribute to projects collectively and offer engineering solutions beyond their own discipline; the use of the latest engineering software; internal standards; industry benchmarks; analysis tools along with working closely with internal and external teams will be the building blocks to deliver project design and information to budget and within agreed times frames. This is a cornerstone in the success and level of repeat business our client achieves with its clients.

As a result of impressive growth within the Mission Critical sector and a number of key framework agreements, they are looking to add an established Electrical biased Associate Director with demonstrable mission critical exposure to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused electrical building services leader to join the Critical Systems team and to play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most notable and hyperscale data centre projects in the UK and on an international basis.
The successful individual will possess excellent understanding of electrical building services as well as knowledge of standard practices in the design and delivery of mission critical projects, including; practical knowledge of Uptime Institute TIER ratings, be responsible for concept and detailed design, project budget, project quality management, apply company guidelines and standards across the portfolio of projects, production of project reports
You will collaborate with the global critical systems team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.

I am currently seeking an intermediate level mechanical design engineer with the ability to run their own projects, carrying out full detailed design for a practice based in Hertfordshire.
The Practice has participated in many projects over 60 years involving the renovation of Historic Buildings, Pharmaceutical Buildings, Healthcare Facilities, Residential Developments and Educational Buildings including the world famous Colleges of Cambridge, and the University of Cambridge.

Capable of managing a portfolio of projects including works at both planning and detailed design stages.
Communicate clearly and effectively with the internal management of the company from Graduate to Director Level.
Externally you will be required to liaise with Clients, Architects and contractors.
Working within a team of engineers and to ensure effective delivery of projects.
Completion of various calculations for system sizing.
Liaising directly with Clients, Architects and Contractors on projects to ensure we meet client needs.
Liaise with senior members of staff to ensure that targets are met.
Building Services Design from Conceptualisation through to Practical Completion.
Building Services Consultancy Experience.
BEng / HND in relevant discipline.
Experience in completion of ventilation, heating, cooling and water sizing.
Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
On site/off the tools experience would also be an advantage.
