The consultancy I am working alongside employ well over 500 staff across the globe, with a network of offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Australia. They have worked on an impressive list of projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, mission critical, luxury hotels, residential, healthcare and education. Their work has been noted for its innovation and sustainable approach, which has been recognised with a number of industry awards, and commendations.
The position will include managing and supporting the growth of the sustainability and building physics team in London, managing resource, mentoring engineers, liaising with clients, and undertaking thermal modelling, dynamic simulation and building physics and building performance.
The client I am work with truly work on some of the most dynamic and environmentally focused projects across the globe, they have worked on numerous WELL Projects and can offer a fascinating portfolio of projects to work on.
£40 - £42 per hour
My client specialises in all aspects of mechanical and electrical building design services, including HVAC, chillers, heating and cooling, LV electrical systems, lighting, drainage and hot and cold water systems.
They focus on design for operation, energy, practicality and cost against asset lifecycle.
They are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer (on a contract basis) to join their busy team in West London for a minimum of five months.

Electrical Design Engineer required for a privately owned and highly regarded building services consultancy in central London.
Our client has been established for nearly 15 years and work with some of the largest blue-chip companies in the square mile, they are market leaders in commercial fit out projects and have worked on an impressive portfolio of commercial projects in London.
Due to planned growth and an engaging selection of projects they are looking to grow the electrical team with the addition of an engineer at intermediate level. The successful candidate will have previous exposure to commercial fit out projects in the UK, and be conversant with Amtech, REVIT along with the latest UK building regulations.
The company can offer a fantastic platform for an intermediate design engineer to gain complete project exposure including scheme and detailed design, liaison with clients and contractors, project costs and P&L exposure, offering the individual all the tools to develop and progress as an engineer which will be encouraged and supported by the directors.
