We have a requirement for an Electrical Design Engineer to join and assist an independent design constancy in London on a contract basis.
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the designs across several client projects. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
You will be responsible for the following:
Some direct work with the client from concept/feasibility stage
Conduct initial and detailed designs on major large scale projects
Cable calculations, Lighting calculations and power distribution.
Electrical Designs on several projects across different sectors

Managing a team of junior engineers
Working closely with others in a team environment.
Producing drawings and specifications.
Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them.
In order to be considered for this role you will have:
A degree qualification - mechanical or building services (Chartered or working towards). An HNC or HND with suitable design experience will also be considered.
Significant experience of design in cleanrooms or similar environments.
Client interaction skills.
Software design ideally including Microsoft Office, Hevacomp, IES, TAS or Cymap.
Knowledge of British standards, building regulations documents, etc.
