Senior Electrical Building Services Design Engineer required to join a multi-award winning consultancy in Central London (City). They provide design and project management across some of the most complex projects within the commercial sector and work with a number of high-profile clients and brands across the UK and Europe. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a Building Services background to join their busy team on a contract basis (outside ir35). As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will need 5 years + consultancy design experience with extensive exposure to project delivery in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector. You must be fully proficient using Amtech & Dialux and should be able to demonstrate solid experience of lighting & power design in buildings. The key requirements of this role include:

Qualifications: Educated to degree level in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent), and having gained relevant experience within a consultancy environment (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc), you should be well versed in the use of relevant design software including ProDesign (Amtech) and ideally, Revit and Dialux. You have proven ability in producing low energy design solutions, carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and crucially – you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.
