    Salary: £40 per hour/to £65k per annum

    Requirements:

    • Preferably someone at Engineer or Senior engineer level
    • Have at least 5 years consultancy experience
    • Good soft skills
    • Good communication internal and external
    • Client facing
    • Worked across all RIBA stages with experience of site-based attendances
    • Motivated
    • Forward thinking and adaptive to new challenges
    • To drive and expand the PH department
    • Work on multiple projects across various sectors (ultimately Commercial, residential, care homes and more)
    • Work on predominantly Revit/BIM projects - Almost all projects over the last 5 years
    • Work to agreed time scales with coordination of PH services with all other disciplines
    • Relevant qualifications within the engineering industry
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Experience in single/multi-residential and Commercial sectors - Other sector experience welcome

    Essential Experience:

    • All Domestic Hot and cold water systems (Including electrically driven heat pump systems)
    • Grey and rainwater harvesting systems
    • Above ground foul/waste water design
    • Fire protection systems (commercial and residential)
    • Pumped drainage systems
    • Boosted cold water distribution

    Not essential but preferrable:

    • Below ground drainage and attenuation
    • Solar thermal hot water systems
    • Gas systems

  • Resident Engineer

    £45 - £48 per hour


    I'm currently working on a long-term contract opportunity for a Resident Engineer (Electrical bias), to work on a large mixed-use development in Central London.


    My client seeks an experienced engineer who can think beyond their own discipline, as the project has a number of buildings within the portfolio. The candidate should have a natural tendency to contribute to collaborative problem-solving working with both clients and contractors.


    The key duties of this role will consist of verification of installations, method statements for inspection and testing procedures for utilities, electrical, mechanical, public health and fire services, onsite inspections, testing and witnessing of all MEP Services installations, identifying any potential coordination issues and proposing solutions, leading progress meetings with client and delivery contractors, producing reports detailing technical compliance, programme and quality of installation.


    This will be an October start with the contract lasting 12 months+, this will be inside of ir35 paying £45p/h.

    The Role;

    The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key part in the Building Services Design team and will be involved in working closely with clients, other design team members in the design, management and delivery of projects.

    In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in working within the design of high end commercial and international projects.

    You will possess the ability to clearly communicate electrical design concepts to clients, contractors and other design team members, producing detailed calculations, proactively ensuring coordination of electrical systems with other disciplines and building structure, lighting and emergency design, and performance design associated with specialist services such as fire alarms and security.

    Responsibilities;

    You will focus on successful project delivery whilst managing a number of concurrent projects. The job holder will be required to attend design, programme and site meetings, and mentor junior engineers and apprentices.

    • Able to communicate at all levels.

    Due to increased workload my client is looking to recruit a Telecoms (SISS) Engineer. The successful candidate will undertake Telecoms design, working within the Telecoms engineering team, initially on a remote basis but will need to commute to their London office 1-2 times a week. Duties include:

    • Actively contributing to site surveys, including planning, inspection of equipment and condition monitoring
    • Collating technical information from surveys, inspections and other sources.
    • Demonstrating a good understanding of the design process
    • Ability to undertake design and assessment work.
    • Undertaking designs to a level that complies with Network Rail, British and European Standards.
    • Keep up to date with current FTN, NR, RSSB and British standards relevant Telecoms design
    • Preparing design and assessment reports
    • Producing design drawings using CAD.
    • Effective communication with other design/construction disciplines and sub-contractors.
    • Produce mark ups and sketches for CAD technicians.
    Experience needed
    • Experience with Operational Telecommunications, Station information and Security Systems (SISS) and SCADA Telecoms.
    • Systems you will need to be competent in designing are CCTV, Public Address / Voice Alarm, Customer Information Systems, Data Networks, Help Points, Access Control etc.
    • Previously been a CRE.

    I am currently recruiting on behalf of multi-disciplinary client who are looking for support in their mechanical team. They are looking to bring on board an experienced and appropriately qualified Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) on a part time basis (3 days a week).

    The Role:

    The Mechanical Engineer will play a key part in the Building Services Design team and will be involved in working closely with clients, other design team members in the design, management, and delivery of projects. The current projects are heavily involved with the rail sector (stations, platforms, bridges etc….) and you must have Network rail experience.

    This will be an ongoing contract and you will focus on successful project delivery whilst managing several concurrent projects. The contractor will be required to carry out detailed design, statutory compliance audits, calculations, attend design, programme, and site meetings.


    You will possess the ability to clearly communicate Mechanical design concepts to clients, contractors and other design team members, producing detailed calculations, proactively ensuring coordination of mechanical systems with other disciplines and building structure, HVAC design, and performance design associated with specialist services.
