  What You’ll Be Doing:

  • You will be working on a varied portfolio of projects both in the UK and internationally across a varied portfolio of projects across key sectors.
  • Designing electrical engineering systems at the highest level using the latest software design packages. Competency in AutoCAD and ideally experience with REVIT.
  • Projects span a cross-section of sectors including Education, Science and Research, Healthcare, Leisure, Residential, Commercial, Defence, and high-end mixed-use developments.
  • You will lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
  • Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or as part of a team.
  • Engage with junior support staff in their day-to-day activities and offer advice and guidance to ensure that they develop their skills and we get the best out of our people.
  • Looking at new ways of working and taking time out for innovation and research ensuring we keep abreast of our competitors.

  What We Are Looking For:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent for a career in building services engineering.
  • You will have experience in using recognised design software tools such as REVIT and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD.
  • Have great communication skills that can adapt both to external parties and clients but also within the team.
  • Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery.
  • You will have recognised qualifications in electrical services design and either be working towards Chartered Status, or have an interest in doing so.
  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects.
  • Experience of people management is desirable.
  • Future flexibility will be needed for regular cooperation, travel, and inter-office working.

They are involved in a number of sectors including commercial, residential and educational across the UK with values up to £7million. They are looking for an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer to join their ever-growing team based in Bristol. They are offering a flexible working environment 3 days office, 2 days week one and then 2 days office 3days home week two rotations. 30 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle (8-4 or 10-6 as an example).   We’re acting as a PSL Agency with access to supply 1 MEP Director and 6 MEP Technical Directors to assemble a team of 30 MEP Engineers across 6 concept packages for a major project in Saudi Arabia. Location: Dubai, UAE/Riyadh, KSA Project Description: An expansive, contemporary downtown mega project spanning 19km2 that is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. Central to this endeavour is a 400m2 cube-shaped supertall skyscraper, capable of accommodating the equivalent of 20 Empire State Buildings. This downtown is grounded in the principles of sustainability featuring green areas, pedestrian-friendly paths, cycling routes, and eco zones to enhance residents' well-being and promote healthy lifestyles and community engagement.   • Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university.
  • Chartered Engineer affiliated with the relevant professional institute.
  • 15 years experience delivering major projects
  • 10 years experience in a multi-disciplinary team leader position
  • Exhibits an extensive grasp of MEP and building services design processes, demonstrating leadership in a specialized field.
  • Displays a strong emphasis on sustainability.
  • Established track record of technical accomplishments, successful project delivery, and high client satisfaction in construction and consultancy settings.
  • Skilled in interfacing with Contractors, Clients, and their representatives.
