They currently seek an intermediate electrical design engineer with building services experience to join the existing MEP team that provides engineering support to a number of Blue-Chip International Brands. Experience within the commercial/industrial, retail, residential, and education sectors are essential. Experience in automotive and clean/dry rooms is desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible, under the leadership of the Associate Director/Senior Engineer, for the internal day-to-day management of small to medium-scale projects and individual engineering task(s) for numerous schemes for client’s cross sector. This will include the creation, development of, and finalising engineering design solutions for electrical services, working with other team members and project teams together with direct liaison with the client and other design team professionals. ROLE OVERVIEW: The Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will demonstrate sound skills in engineering design and be comfortable working on projects from inception to completion, able to undertake various aspects with minimal supervision. They will assist the senior staff to prepare conceptual designs of HVAC systems, pipe work systems, plant sizing and selection and calculations. The engineer will be a strong team player, keen to develop their skills, and to this end they will work closely with the senior engineers to assist with administration and coordination of projects and will undertake tasks to increase their exposure to business development and improve their understanding of financial and contractual aspects of projects in addition to constantly developing their technical knowledge.
