  We’re acting as a PSL Agency with access to supply 1 MEP Director and 6 MEP Technical Directors to assemble a team of 30 MEP Engineers across 6 concept packages for a major project in Saudi Arabia. Location: Dubai, UAE/Riyadh, KSA Project Description: An expansive, contemporary downtown mega project spanning 19km2 that is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. Central to this endeavour is a 400m2 cube-shaped supertall skyscraper, capable of accommodating the equivalent of 20 Empire State Buildings. This downtown is grounded in the principles of sustainability featuring green areas, pedestrian-friendly paths, cycling routes, and eco zones to enhance residents' well-being and promote healthy lifestyles and community engagement. The project will include an iconic museum, a cutting-edge technology and design university, and a multipurpose immersive theatre among 80 state of the art entertainment and culture venues, 300k m2 of retail space, and home for hundreds of thousands of residents.   • Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university.
  • Chartered Engineer affiliated with the relevant professional institute.
  • 15 years experience delivering major projects
  • 10 years experience in a multi-disciplinary team leader position
  • Exhibits an extensive grasp of MEP and building services design processes, demonstrating leadership in a specialized field.
  • Displays a strong emphasis on sustainability.

• Principal Electrical Engineer

  Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Services Principal Electrical Engineer with a leading International multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Central London.  They are one of the UKs Top Employers for 5 years in a row according to Top Employer Institute.  Their multi-disciplined team includes MEP (30 strong), Environmental Design & Sustainability, VT, and Architectural Design Lighting.  They are involved in high profile and prestigious projects all over the world across a variety of sectors so the role may involve some travel. Responsibilities:

  • Full time role reporting to the team leader / partner.
  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other documents required.
  • Apply relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides and good practise for UK and International projects.
  • Take responsibility for specific areas of the design and project development. Lead electrical engineering design for small and medium sized projects.
  • Seek, complete and record evidence of, continuing professional development (CPD) in accordance with the requirements of the relevant professional Institution.
  • Represent the company in professional and diligent manner at all times, attend meetings with client, project team, contractors etc.
  • Communicate design concepts and detailed solutions to a varied audience including engineers, architects, contractors and client representatives both in report form and verbally in presentations.
  • Manage multiple projects, delegate work and supervise junior engineers in the team.
  • Act as a mentor for the practice Graduate Training Scheme.

  Skills: Essential:

  • Electrical engineering, Building Services/Engineering related degree or related experience with electrical bias.
  • Fluent English (Spoken and Written).
  • Qualified as a Chartered Engineer or in final stage of registering (or validated Overseas equivalent).
  • Solid technical understanding of own core engineering discipline and the role of the electrical engineer within the design team.
  • Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines engaged in the design of the built environment.
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference material.
  • Ability to use initiative in response to demands of project.
  • Able to present, negotiate and communicate well in graphical, written or verbal forms including ability to listen and to understand others.
  • Ability to understand and formulate design decisions.
  • A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and a proven commitment to independent, lifelong learning.
  • Self-organized and motivated.
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team

They have experienced steady growth by providing first class project delivery and now consist of a team of 50 multi-disciplinary Building Services and Sustainability Engineers. They are looking for a Sustainability Consultant/BREEAM Assessor to work on some of the UK’s largest high end residential and hotel projects. Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of six people working on sustainability initiatives.
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals.
  • Work with other departments to ensure that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest sustainability trends and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards and regulations.
  • Communicate sustainability initiatives and progress to our clients.

  Requirements:
