Job Description
We are currently seeking an MEP Design Lead (Buildings) with a Mechanical Building Services bias in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on behalf of a PSL client. Due to clearance and visa restrictions, this position is only available to British Citizens.

The Role:
- Representing to and interacting daily with clients, contractors, and project stake holders.
- Management, direction, and coordination of the MEP design teams over multiple projects.
- Management of the coordination with other services and/or sub-consultants.
- Demonstrating commercial awareness.
- Strong Revit/Grasshopper/Rhino skills with a deep understanding of the digital transformation and the opportunities this presents.
Requirements:
- Building Services/Mechanical Engineering BEng (Hons)/BSc (Hons) degree.
- Chartered Engineer with the relevant institute, such as CIBSE/IET/IMechE.
- 15+ years’ experience in delivering major projects.
- 10+ years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary team leader position.
- An in-depth understanding of all MEP and building services design processes.
- The ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally.
- Experience on design and build project would be advantageous.
- Experience of working with contractors.
- Previous experience of leading multi-disciplinary design teams and responsibility for budgets and programming.
- Commercial awareness essential with an understanding and ability to administer change control.
- Computer literate with all standard project design and development software.
- Strong communication skills will be required to interact with multiple internal and external teams and project stakeholders.
