Role: As part of their continuing growth strategy, they are looking to appoint a Senior Building Services Design Engineer, with a strong mechanical bias, to help support their comprehensive range of services for building owners. The role will include the responsibility to deliver the building services designs for principally refurbishment projects, with an emphasis on net zero carbon transition. Additionally, it offers the opportunity to innovate on existing industry processes and help shape our own unique software to support this. With a bias towards mechanical engineering, the successful applicant will have experience in the design of HVAC systems alongside a good general working knowledge of building services within the commercial property sector. Opportunity This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced MEP professional to join a growing consultancy and play a significant role in shaping its technical direction. Reporting directly to the founding Directors, you will lead a small multidisciplinary MEP team and take responsibility for the delivery of technically ambitious projects. The role combines hands-on engineering, project leadership, team management and client engagement, with considerable autonomy and direct involvement in decision-making. You will lead the development of integrated MEP solutions designed to achieve ambitious energy and carbon outcomes, including the incorporation of low-carbon plant, energy storage, resource-sharing strategies and the reuse of waste heat and water.
