  We’re acting as a PSL Agency with access to supply 1 MEP Director and 6 MEP Technical Directors to assemble a team of 30 MEP Engineers across 6 concept packages for a major project in Saudi Arabia. Location: Dubai, UAE/Riyadh, KSA Project Description: An expansive, contemporary downtown mega project spanning 19km2 that is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative. Central to this endeavour is a 400m2 cube-shaped supertall skyscraper, capable of accommodating the equivalent of 20 Empire State Buildings. This downtown is grounded in the principles of sustainability featuring green areas, pedestrian-friendly paths, cycling routes, and eco zones to enhance residents' well-being and promote healthy lifestyles and community engagement. The project will include an iconic museum, a cutting-edge technology and design university, and a multipurpose immersive theatre among 80 state of the art entertainment and culture venues, 300k m2 of retail space, and home for hundreds of thousands of residents. Role & Qualifications:

  • Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree from an internationally recognised university.
  • Chartered Engineer affiliated with the relevant professional institute.

• Junior Electrical Engineer

They have over 50 years’ experience and have been associated with hundreds of renowned brands and prestigious engineering projects throughout the United Kingdom. They provide high-quality comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Environmental engineering solutions to a broad range of projects. They include large new build, renovations, and fit-outs to bespoke environmental designs that result in more efficient buildings in all sectors including commercial, education, leisure and entertainment, mixed-use, residential schemes, and shopping centres. They are looking to add a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their busy team in Bexley. Responsibilities include:

  • Electrical services design including but not limited to LV design including cable sizing, lighting, lighting controls, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Preparation and development of concept, feasibility, and detailed design proposals, which include specifications, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ability to use DIALux lighting and Amtech electrical software.
  • Fully proficient in AutoCAD 2D with either some knowledge of the use of Revit or the desire to learn.
  • MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Good communication skills are required whilst you accompany colleagues to meetings with clients, other professional design team members, and contractors.
  • Strong technical expertise within electrical building services design, gained working within the UK building services industry for either a consultancy or contractor.
  • Knowledge of UK design legislation and guidance.

  Knowledge & Experience required:

  •  1 -3 years’ Electrical services design experience.
  • DIALux and Amtech software knowledge.

• Senior BREEAM Assessor/Sustainability Consultant

  You will play a key role in the Sustainability team, driving projects and enhancing client relationships whilst maintaining a strong focus on identifying and developing new business initiatives. Working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will provide a first-class BREEAM and sustainability consultancy services to clients. You will work across a variety of sectors and will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as we support the development of your professional skills. Main Role and responsibility

  • Undertaking BREEAM and Well and Fitwel assessments
  • Manage multi projects on budget and in a timely manner
  • Acting as the Sustainability consultant and BREEAM AP, you will work closely with the clients, design team and contractors in a professional manner to deliver their key sustainability objectives - BREEAM, WELL, Fitwell, HQM.
  • Provide high-quality consultancy services, providing clear and applicable guidance and recommendations, allowing projects to realise their potential.
  • Assist in the delivery of sustainability strategies, this could include the following: Sustainability Benchmarks, sustainability Statements, Circular Economy, Health + Well-being.
  • Work collaboratively to develop compelling sustainability associated presentations – continuing our contribution to the built environment sector.
  • Desire to undertake Continual Professional Development by reading technical journals, attending relevant technical seminars from time to time, and attending in-house seminars aimed at increasing technical and operational knowledge

  Management

  • Monitor workload against deliverables and report to line manager.
  • Utilise a high level of oral and written communication (particularly developing report writing skills) to ensure clarity of communication both internally and externally.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures.
  • Maintain good existing relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Take accountability for client-facing consultancy services, and liaise with clients and others to obtain technical and operational information relating to the projects.

  Qualifications

  • Min 3 years experience in undertaking building environmental assessments and certifications eg. BREEAM, WELL and Fitwel, HQM, and similar
  • Knowledge of building performance and LCA tools
  • Knowledge of thermal modelling and building physics studies including daylight studies, thermal comfort, and overheating studies
  • Track record in client relationship management and project management in a consulting environment.
