ROLE OVERVIEW: The BIM Technical Manager role entails taking ownership of production of our BIM models (and also all 2D and 3D drawings) to ensure that they are delivered to a consistently high quality across all projects and in accordance with agreed programs. The BIM Technical Manager will also drive the organisation’s transition to BIM with the ultimate goal that the workstreams of the MEP engineers and BIM Technicians is seamless. To achieve this all engineers will need to be fully conversant in Revit and all supporting software, in order to deliver coordinated BIM models (and also 3D drawings) from inception to completion of future projects. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with a Building Services background to join their busy team on a contract basis (outside ir35).
As the Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will need 5 years + of consultancy design experience with extensive exposure to project delivery in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector. You must be fully proficient using Hevacomp & IES and should be able to demonstrate solid experience of HVAC design in buildings.
