  Our client is an award-winning international studio for architecture and integrated design, with headquarters in London, and 14 offices worldwide employing c1400 people.  They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to be part of their multidisciplinary engineering team in London. You will be required to work within a team to develop the successful projects through clear strategy and proactive commitment nationally and internationally. Responsibilities:

  Qualities and skills required:

  • Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
  • Qualified as or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
  • Solid technical understanding of own core engineering discipline and the role of the mechanical engineer within the design team
  • Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines engaged in the design of the built environment
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference material
  • Ability to use initiative in response to demands of project
  • Able to negotiate and communicate well in graphical, written or verbal forms including ability to listen and to understand others

  • Familiarity with ASHRAE design standards, including 55, 62.1, 90.1 etc.

Seeking an Associate level Electrical Engineer. About the role: As a member of the Engineering team, you will report to an Associate Director. Role: As the Mechanical Associate, you will lead and oversee the Mechanical Engineering aspects of various building services projects. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for developing creative solutions that meet our client's needs while adhering to industry standards and sustainability principles. Your technical expertise and leadership will be instrumental in guiding our projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities:

  •  Manage and oversee the mechanical design team within the London office.

  • 7+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with some experiencing managing and mentoring.
  • Good knowledge of MEPWorx, AutoCAD, IES, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ideally knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, and Revit.
  • A track record of managing and completing medium to large-scale projects successfully.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the building services industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a meticulous approach to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
