The Role This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, contributing to the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across all stages of the design process. Depending on experience, the role may involve leading projects, managing design delivery, and mentoring junior engineers, while also contributing technical expertise and creative input to complex engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and development of electrical building services systems across all project stages
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external consultants to deliver coordinated design solutions
  • Attendance at client, design team and site meetings
  • Preparation of design calculations, specifications and technical documentation
  • Use of industry-standard software including AutoCAD and ideally Revit
  • Supporting innovation through the application of new techniques and technologies
  • (Senior level) Leading projects and mentoring junior engineers

  Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience within Building Services Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
  • Experience working across a range of building sector projects
  • Confident communicator with experience in client-facing environments
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience desirable
  • Ability to obtain full security clearance
  • Ideally Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership (for senior candidates)

• Senior Mechanical Engineer

The firm is independently owned by the Directors and employees, all based together in one office, supporting each other without corporate interference or distractions irrelevant to project delivery.  They can provide technical support when needed, but otherwise trust employees to independently manage their workload. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design solutions on complex projects from initial concept through to final delivery, represent the business in front of clients and architects, and provide mentorship and guidance to more junior team members. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical design on complex and large-scale UK and International projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial.
  • Manage the delivery of mechanical design solutions in accordance with British Standards and relevant codes of practice.
  • Produce detailed mechanical designs and specifications for projects, ensuring compliance with performance requirements and energy efficiency standards.
