A multidisciplinary consultancy established more than three decades ago is seeking a bright and ambitious Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join one of their busy M&E teams.
This medium sized company is renowned in the industry for delivering some of the most iconic Commercial, Residential, Mixed Use and Master Plan Schemes across London. They also boast Specialist Buildings, Major London Hotels, Leisure and Office developments within their ever growing portfolio. They have successfully collaborated in several full BIM projects with contract values typically ranging from £10million to beyond £200million.
To be considered for this role the successful candidate will possess the following:
* Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant industry related qualification
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Able to calculate heat loss and utility applications
* Excellent presentation, communication skills, and punctuation
* Understanding of British Building Regulations/standards
* Experience using Mechanical Design Software - Hevacomp
* Experience liaising directly with Clients, Architects and Contractors on projects
* A track record including works at both planning and detailed design stages
* Live within 1 hour of the office

Principal Mechanical engineer position to work on a number of high-profile data centre projects with a high-profile MEP consultancy in central London.
I am working in partnership with a well-known consultancy who have been established for over 40 years and employ well over 500 staff across the globe, with a network of offices in the UK, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Australia. They have worked on an impressive list of projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, retail, mission critical, luxury hotels, residential, healthcare and education.
They have an established mission critical specialist design team in London and have recently secured some hugely important and impressive projects within the data centre arena, this has driven the requirement to secure the addition of a mechanical engineer with experience of data centre projects
Applicants will have completed a degree in building services or mechanical engineers and have achieved chartered status or have made considerable progress in applying for chartership.
The successful candidate will possess excellent understanding of mechanical building services as well as knowledge of standard practices in the design and delivery of mission critical projects, including latest ASRAE guidelines and Uptime Institute TIER ratings, be responsible for concept and detailed design, project budget, project quality management, apply company guidelines and standards across the portfolio of projects, production of project reports.
The candidate will already be operating at a Senior - Principal Engineer level within an engineering, construction or property environment, and will have a demonstrable track record in the design and delivery of data centre projects.

As a result of impressive growth within the Mission Critical sector and a number of key framework agreements, they are looking to add an established Electrical biased Associate Director with demonstrable mission critical exposure to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused electrical building services leader to join the Critical Systems team and to play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most notable and hyperscale data centre projects in the UK and on an international basis.
The successful individual will possess excellent understanding of electrical building services as well as knowledge of standard practices in the design and delivery of mission critical projects, including; practical knowledge of Uptime Institute TIER ratings, be responsible for concept and detailed design, project budget, project quality management, apply company guidelines and standards across the portfolio of projects, production of project reports
You will collaborate with the global critical systems team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects.
