Sustainability is at the heart of their projects, and because of growth, the in-house sustainability team urgently requires a Sustainability consultant.
The successful candidate will have OCDEA accreditation (EPC for residential new build units) and will have completed numerous SAP/EPC assessments and produced Planning Energy Strategies.
You should also have some experience and be looking to develop in other areas of sustainability engineering including IES thermal modelling, SBEM/daylight/sunlight/thermal bridging calculations, BREEAM assessments, and report writing for planning submissions.Client: A multi award-winning team of engineers, environmental designers, and sustainability consultants with more than 1,000 international employees. Role: This is a new role within the business and will sit within the wider sustainability team. You will be working closely with the Associate Principal in Sustainability with a view to growing the carbon offering and consultancy service. The role will contribute to the delivery of work relating to the decarbonisation of existing building stock, and the whole life carbon assessments, in particular within MEP installations. You will be able to support the growth of business in this area by identifying new opportunities and delivering insightful presentations to potential new clients. Role: This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office. The contract is a 6-month duration initially and it has the potential to become a permanent position. You should be able to fulfil duties and responsibilities of a discipline lead for small to medium sized projects. In support of large and hyperscale projects a senior engineer should take responsibility for critical systems and/or substantial aspects of the design including the ownership, resourcing, and execution of project design changes.
