  Our client is an award-winning international studio for architecture and integrated design, with headquarters in London, and 14 offices worldwide employing c1400 people.  They have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to be part of their multidisciplinary engineering team in London. You will be required to work within a team to develop the successful projects through clear strategy and proactive commitment nationally and internationally. This is a fantastic opportunity with a top tier firm working on some of the most prestigious projects in the world which include projects in aviation, highrise, and pharmaceutical sectors. Responsibilities:

  • To adhere to the design process and undertake mechanical engineering design activities relating to the project
  • To fulfil the Practice’s overall objective in producing first class architecture and engineering on time and on budget

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislations, standards, regulations, guides and good practise
  • To have thorough knowledge of and compliance with company procedures and standards
  • To contribute and assist, as required by the Project Leader or Senior Partner, or nominated Engineer.

  Qualities and skills required:

  • Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities
  • Legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
  • Qualified as or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
  • Solid technical understanding of own core engineering discipline and the role of the mechanical engineer within the design team
  • Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines engaged in the design of the built environment
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standard design reference material
  • Ability to use initiative in response to demands of project
  • Able to negotiate and communicate well in graphical, written or verbal forms including ability to listen and to understand others
  • Ability to understand and formulate design decisions

  • Familiarity with ASHRAE design standards, including 55, 62.1, 90.1 etc.
  • Ability to use some of the following software applications: IES, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Coding in python, dynamo, grasshopper, C+

Seeking an Associate level Electrical Engineer. About the role: As a member of the Engineering team, you will report to an Associate Director. You will be responsible for leading and maintaining a wide range of projects and/or providing specialist knowledge to other projects/teams. Using industry benchmarks and internal standards, you will ensure not only the timely delivery of considered and accurate project information but also provide a leading point of contact for our clients/collaborators. The incumbent will be expected to undertake an element of business development, leveraging key contacts to secure new or additional work whenever possible. You will also be encouraged to secure external speaking/CPD opportunities.   Senior Electrical Building Services Design Engineer required to join a multi-award winning consultancy in Central London (City). They provide design and project management across some of the most complex projects within the commercial sector and work with a number of high-profile clients and brands across the UK and Europe. They are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a Building Services background to join their busy team on a contract basis (outside ir35). As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will need 5 years + consultancy design experience with extensive exposure to project delivery in the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector. You must be fully proficient using Amtech & Dialux and should be able to demonstrate solid experience of lighting & power design in buildings. The key requirements of this role include:

  • Electrical engineering degree
