• Senior Mechanical Engineer

  • Leading the mechanical design of building services projects.

   Requirements:  We're looking for an ambitious Mechanical Building Services Engineer who enjoys technical design, client interaction and taking ownership of projects. Ideally you'll have:

  • Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • Around 4+ years' experience within a Building Services consultancy.
  • Experience designing mechanical systems across a range of building sectors.
  • Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and relevant British Standards.
  • Experience using industry-standard design software including Revit and associated mechanical design packages.
  • An understanding of sustainable building design, renewable technologies and low-carbon solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Working towards, or already holding, Chartered Engineer status through CIBSE or IMechE.

  • Lead the mechanical / electrical design on several small projects (up to £5M) or one medium sized project (up to £20M).

  • Formulate calculations as required (this includes any modelling as necessary).

  • Assist in building surveys as appropriate.
