    Working as part of an established design team the successful candidate will represent the company in client and design team meetings, produce reports, calculations, drawings and specifications as well as monitor works on site.     Experience

    5- 8 Years' experience within building services

    Detailed design - pipe work, HVAC, air conditioning

    Autocad, Hevacomp, IES (heat loss and heat calculations).

    MEP Revit although not essential

    Experience of managing the design process for Mechanical Design layout of high rise commercial and residential buildings.

    Degree educated (or equivalent)

    Ventilation, heating, cooling and water sizing and knowledge of Building Regulations Part B, G, F & L.

The role will include preparing fire strategies in accordance with BS 9999 and ADB, liaising with Building Control Authorities to gain building regulation approval for the strategies, and liaising with the wider design team (architects, project managers etc.) to help develop and design buildings in accordance with part B.

    Key requirements:

     A degree in Fire Engineering, Building Science or equivalent;
     Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
     A good understanding / knowledge of current UK Fire Safety Legislation;
     Experience in the application of Fire Engineering techniques and principals;
     Experience of working within a fire safety engineering team.
     Experience with sprinkler systems, CFD's, wet and dry risers.

    The core role and responsibilities for the successful individual shall be:

     Production, with guidance, fire safety strategy documents to inform and support the development throughout the design process on various types of buildings across a number of sectors;
